Hunting

In the Atchafalaya, on the average, hunters spend over 37,000 man-days annually in the pursuit of both small game mammals and birds. Deer hunters spent $1,213,630 on 24,916 hunting trips in the Sherburne area of the Atchafalaya during the 1987-88 hunting season.
