This museum is an internet based collection of information and images related to the rich maritime heritage of Louisiana. The purpose of this museum is to increase awareness of Louisiana's maritime heritage by collecting and presenting information using a widely accessible medium. Features include a survey of the various boat types that have played important roles in Louisiana history, Watercraft of Louisiana, and the restoration of a 50 year old Gulf One-Design Sloop, Spindrift II.
